What To Expect
Our clients love our Premier Pest Control Service! We apply a preventative treatment to their home from the top to the bottom! Upon the start or renewal of your pest control service, annually, our technicians will be at your home for 1-5 hours, depending on the size of the home. The exterior is serviced quarterly. Here is how it works:
Step 1: Your technician will remove the accessible receptacle and switch plate covers and apply bait into the wall voids where the pests are living and the baits are inaccessible to your children and pets. Over the next several days the pests living in your wall voids will encounter the poisonous bait. After they consume it, they will slowly expire. The expired pests provide poisoned food for other pests and the cycle continues. The bait applied in the wall voids will continue to kill pests for about a year after the application, depending on the degree of the infestation.
Step 2: Your technician will apply bait around all of the accessible plumbing access points. Pests need water to survive;therefore they naturally gravitate towards the plumbing access points and encounter our deadly bait.
Step 3: Your technician will treat the attic with an electric duster. The “dust” applied to the attic is very fine and not harmful to humans, but deadly for pests. Most companies charge an extra fee to treat the attic (if the service is offered).
Step 4: Your technician will treat the interior of the garage, eliminating pests living in the garage from entering your home.
Step 5: Your technician will sweep around your doors, windows, eves and soffits. By sweeping, we remove most of the spider webbing, insect debris and wasp nests, thereby eliminating pest “food”.
Step 6: Your technician will treat around the windows, doors, eves and soffits. Treating around the doors, windows, eves and soffits provides a protective barrier that repels pests where they are most likely entering your home from – the outdoors.
Step 7: Your technician will treat your entire yard, including all shrubs, bushes, mulch beds, grass, rocks, and trees as high as they can safely reach. It is important to note that with the premier service we treat the entire yard for general household pests. Our yard treatment will compliment any other treatments performed by companies licensed to service your yard for lawn pests.
While we are servicing your home, we shall inspect the premises for any termite activity, water damage and rodent entry points. Should we find termite damage we will note the findings on our service ticket, along with any recommendations. If we find rodent entry points we usually fix the holes and set traps as part of our annual service. However, in some instances a rodent exclusion is necessary. Should a rodent exclusion be necessary, the technician will report their findings to you and provide you with options to have a rodent free home!
Exterior Quarterly Service – Steps 5, 6, and 7 are automatically repeated quarterly.
